Finding Work
I have extensive experience within recruitment both in the UK and overseas. I have advised thousands of people in a range of professions and industries on how to find work and how to develop their career. As a result I understand the highs of deciding to look for a role, needing to maintain motivation when you are applying for positions and, after the initial joy of landing a great new job, the lows that sometimes people feel after they have handed their notice in, and they face the reality of leaving behind what they know and starting something new.
I can support my clients in both their job search, with their insecurities when they win that longed for promotion or new role. When they perhaps wonder ‘have I done the right thing’ or ‘can I do this job’, and also during the first few months of starting with a new employer.
Whilst I am not a career counsellor and I do not use psychometric tests, I talk through any issues or concerns with my clients, look at your strengths and areas that you may want to develop and discuss steps that you can take to achieve that promotion or your ideal role. Building on this, we look at your options, put together an action plan and then together overcome any barriers that arise.
I work with HR Directors or companies who want to offer their staff coaching or a career support. I also work with individuals who are looking for professional guidance when they are looking to develop their career.
